Therapeutic Massage Therapist
Summer has long been fascinated by human health and the body’s innate capacity to heal and adapt. She is continually inspired by the profound and far-reaching benefits that bodywork can provide. After becoming a massage therapist in 2011, she was drawn to the ways massage therapy supports performance optimization, stress reduction, injury prevention, and recovery.
Her early training emphasized a strong neuromuscular focus, which continues to shape how she assesses and works with the body. Over the years, she has refined her approach through advanced education in myofascial therapy, trigger point therapy, and multiple cupping modalities, including orthopedic cupping, Medicupping, and traditional cupping. These techniques allow her to tailor each session with precision, supporting both functional improvement and deeper regulation.
In 2018, Summer expanded her clinical perspective by becoming a registered nurse. Her work across sport, exercise, and clinical environments has deepened her appreciation for the impact that skilled, intentional bodywork can have within both performance and healthcare settings. She is currently continuing her education while working toward becoming a Nurse Practitioner and a Yoga Teacher, with the goal of integrating these disciplines into a comprehensive, whole-person approach to health.
Summer believes deeply in the value of massage therapy and finds great joy and meaning in the practice. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys reading, practicing yoga, weightlifting, hiking, rucking, spending time at the beach, and being outdoors with her dogs. She is excited to be part of the FiT community, where the shared commitment to health and well-being aligns with her own values.
