About

Christian Lee

A personal trainer since 2009, Christian brings over 15 years of experience to his practice along with a résumé that spans strength and conditioning, martial arts, fine art, academic research, and international athletic competition.

Born and raised on the South Pacific island of Guam, Christian has since made his way up the west coast — living in Washington, Nevada, and California — carrying with him a perspective on movement, culture, and human performance that is genuinely one of a kind. He has competed internationally in taekwondo representing Guam, holds black belts in both taekwondo and hapkido, and has been competing in powerlifting for the last 13 years. When Christian talks about what it takes to pursue strength, he's speaking from deep personal experience.

For over 7 years, Christian applied his expertise in a uniquely meaningful context — using exercise and lifestyle-based interventions in the care and management of type 2 diabetes through the Special Diabetes Program for Indians. That work reinforced what he already believed: that training is about far more than aesthetics or performance. It can be medicine.

Christian is passionate about strength and conditioning, corrective exercise, and the fine-tuning of individual movement mechanics. But above all, he believes that mindset and philosophy will always outperform the details of any program. In his words, the process itself is where the real reward lives — not just the destination. He encourages every client to fall in love with the journey, because that's where lasting change actually happens.

Currently pursuing a PhD in Kinesiology, Christian holds Master's degrees in both Applied Exercise Science and Fine Art — a combination that perfectly reflects the way he sees training: equal parts science and craft.

Outside the gym, Christian is a proud dad to two spunky kids, a self-described dog person, and a dedicated fan of fantasy and sci-fi novels and anime. He lives by a quote from powerlifter Scott Yard that captures his philosophy better than anything else could:

"You do something that matters to no one else but yourself. It may be silly. It may be stupid. However, in that moment, it encompasses everything you want to be."
