Coach
James is the rare kind of coach who brings as much depth to a conversation as he does to a training program. Specializing in bridging the gap between precision training and real-world lifestyle change, James helps clients improve their quality of life through FiT's five key tenets: Eating Strategy, Sleep Hygiene, Stress Management, Exercise Prescription, and Self-Care. In his philosophy, workouts are just one piece of the puzzle — sustainable progress comes from addressing the habits, systems, and mindset that drive lasting change.
What sets James apart is a genuinely one-of-a-kind background. Before joining FiT, he studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, served as Director of Coffee and Education at Barefoot Coffee Roasters, and worked as a Lead Flexologist specializing in applied stretching theory at Stretch Lab. Each chapter of his life sharpened the same core skill: the ability to take complex concepts and make them simple, actionable, and human. Whether he's coaching a barbell lift, breaking down a recovery protocol, or just connecting with a client over shared interests — James shows up the same way every time.
With top strengths in relationship building, strategic thinking, and execution, James brings structure and intention to everything he does — while never losing the warmth and trust that make coaching truly effective.
Outside the gym, James is a husband, dad to a young son and baby daughter, and devoted dog dad to Ziggy. When he's not coaching, you'll find him lifting, running, cooking, or diving deep into music — proof that the learning never really stops.
