Coach
San Jose native Jon found his way into personal training the same way many great coaches do — through a lifelong love of sport. After competing in soccer at West Valley College, he took his passion for athletic performance to Stanford University, where he began his career as a personal trainer. More than a decade later, that same fire hasn't dimmed one bit.
Jon's training philosophy is straightforward but powerful: build strength first, and everything else follows. In his experience, when clients focus on developing strength and increasing muscle mass, the rest of their fitness journey — confidence, body composition, energy, resilience — naturally falls into place. What he finds most rewarding isn't just the physical transformation, but watching everyday people discover a version of themselves they didn't know was possible.
With a deep academic foundation in Kinesiology and a toolkit that spans corrective exercise, performance enhancement, senior fitness, and functional training, Jon brings a well-rounded, science-backed approach to every client he works with. Whether you're recovering from an injury, training for performance, or simply showing up for the first time — Jon meets you where you are and builds from there.
Outside the gym, Jon's priorities are simple: quality time with his wife, daughter, and dog, and making sure there's always a trip on the calendar — because a future vacation is non-negotiable.
