Trainer
Stephanie earned her PhD from Stanford University, where she focused on artificial intelligence in order to build tools to support personal trainers and their clients. She’s passionate about using both tech and hands-on coaching to help people move better, feel stronger, and stay injury-free.
Her athletic journey started in gymnastics, shifted to powerlifting and tennis in high school, and then to rugby in college (and beyond, with the Washington, D.C. women’s team). These days, you’ll find her rolling in Brazilian jiu-jitsu class, rowing, or enjoying a good weightlifting session.
Stephanie got into personal training by coaching her rugby teammates and quickly realized how much she loved helping others improve. Having dealt with her fair share of injuries, she has a keen eye for spotting movement issues and helping clients correct imbalances so they can live and move pain-free. She enjoys working with a wide range of people, whether someone’s training for a powerlifting meet or training to keep up with their grandkids. Stephanie is all about making movement more accessible, fun, and empowering.
Outside the gym, Stephanie enjoys being a pet parent to “way too many cats”, finding dogs to pet (until she lives somewhere that lets her have her own), and coding the next breakthrough system for personal trainers. And when the Olympics, Rugby World Cup, or Soccer World Cup are on, there’s a good chance she’s keeping an eye on the scores between training sessions.
